Rebecca Katz The Healthy Mind Cookbook

Napoleon Hill is well known as the originator of personal improvement. His influential books and thoughts have helped countless people to reach their own goals for decades now. Napoleon Hill dedicated twenty-five decades of his life researching the why of individuals collapse. From the brilliant ideas and research of one of America’s greatest self-evident writers, here are seventeen Napoleon Hill quotes to inspire you to consider greatness…

I think twice before I talk, because your words can plant the seed of success or failure in my mind. Napoleon Hill said,”I have learned that what a man can do, that a man can accomplish.” Never underestimate the power of the spoken word, particularly when it comes to achieving your targets. Napoleon Hill said,”A man with the ability to work successfully and economically, but who doesn’t expect to be successful, is like a man with a wheel who doesn’t know how to use his tool; he believes but does not do.”

I think twice before I do, because only your mind on a certain goal and action can prepare you for it and set you free. Napoleon Hill said,”You must be certain that the power of thought and of action are joined, and that these two are inseparable.” The brain controls your body and spirit, your soul controls your mind. Napoleon Hill said,”A man is but the product of his thoughts what he’s done, and the man of actions is but the consequence of his thoughts, preparations, and efforts.”

If you can’t do good things in a great way, do small things in a great way. Napoleon Hill wrote,”I often hear it said, don’t go beyond your skills. Nothing can be farther from the truth. You may reach your targets but do not go beyond your attainments.”

Napoleon Hill said,”A man’s work isn’t done when his work is finished; a man’s work is begun then and continued continually.” Would you like your dreams, desires, and aims to be realized? Then first comes believed, then there’s an implementation, then there’s measuring, and then there is seeing the end results. Napoleon Hill wrote,”First come the thoughts, then come the execution, then are the measures, and last but not least are the joy of this outcome.”

Napoleon Hill also said,”The limits of the human mind are permeable; neither can they be hidden, although the soul may escape for some time the scrutiny of the average individual.” Do not set forth your objectives, keep them within your reach, for when you have achieved them you will have the ability to see and understand their greatness. If you can’t accomplish anything in your life by the power of your will alone, then it isn’t within the scope of your energy, for will is only an outward form of the interior force that moves outwards toward its objective.

Napoleon Hill also stated,”If you expect to climb to the peak of the mountain by keeping steadily in place, you’ll fail; keep on moving, and before you know it you will be standing at the top with the mountain in your back.” Both poverty and riches are the offspring of the same mind, the mind which think a goal is a dream with a physical goal, and that when that goal is achieved there’s no need to keep on working to achieve it. A positive mind sees a way it can become a success, and a negative mind looks for all the reasons why it can not or won’t.

Napoleon Hill was right about several things, and in his book Think and Grow Rich, he explained why there are no limitations to the mind except those we assemble. That’s why he said,”The greatest discovery of my generation is that a man can alter his life by altering the thought which he receives from his surroundings.” Thus, if you believe there aren’t any reasons why you can’t become a success and poverty and riches won’t stop flowing, then you are either unaware of them, or you are creating them yourself. You can make a difference in this world and take charge of your own destiny.
